hugs and kisses.
Of all lessons that i've learnt,i think unattachment is the very one that gave impact on the present me.
I've started to detach from anything that i sense could potentially harm me emotionally or physically. Its very hard to practice unattachment because human brain prefers familiarity.
But to me,i felt that this had helped me in my daily life.Whenever i become attached to something,i solely rely on that something to make me happy.Sounds loony but that is how i function.I wanted it to be close to as much as possible,i unconciously dedicate myself to that something. When i lose it,i became sad and uncomfortable,as if something was not quite right.
So,unattachment made me become who i am today.I no longer feel pushed aside simple because i know i choose to be quiet, not because i have no chance whatsoever.I no longer need a friend to do this or that "together" because i know, sometimes working alone can save me from a lot of hassle.I no longer seek for love simply because i know,it will come when the timing is right.
Also, when you detach from someone for example, you can see how much is your value to that someone.Or you detach from something for example, you can examine how much that thing affected your daily life, either in a good or bad way.
Attachment can be a good thing you know, like a marriage based on love or a friendship that supports each other unconditionally.Attachment is a good thing only if it didn't put a veil on who you really are.

Super like. I think when we are attached too much it always hurts us... we have to not let anything be the basis of our happiness.

Interesting post. I think it's all about finding the balance between too dependent but enough attached to some things that you're still human xo
@Emily Jane Garthwaite yes,i agree with you.Finding the balance is actually quite hard.nevertheless,we're just humans.
