Too Faced Born This Way Foundation Review

Good day peeps!

I would categorize this as a luxury foundation. I've been wanting this ever since it was launched in early summer if I'm not mistaken. Yet the price tag makes me hesitate to pick up this product until last month. Thanks bae! XOXO

I still haven't got rid of the box because it iz so pwetty!

For RM 137, you get 30ml of product.

DAS ESSPENSIVE

But it have several high claims as shown above plus the whole 'born this way' line is supposed to give an impression of a flawless porcelain soft skin.

The bottle look and feel luxurious while maintaining its simplicity.

The frosted bottle actually add weights to the product and the pump makes it convenient to use as opposed to pumpless foundation.

The swatch look darker due to my lighting, sorry about that :(
Its the perfect match for my skin tone. I tried the tester and I was surprised on how well it blends with my skin.

The foundation is unscented but it does have its natural scent, mild smell of chemicals mixed together.

Its a little bit thick but once blended it feels light and it provide amazing coverage! A thin layer would be enough if you have slight discoloration, redness and faded scars. My skin become airbrushed and it has semi matte finish. I've usually dust a small amount of loose powder just to lock it in place.

It last long and its not sticky at all. I can say it suits my skin pretty well without causing breakouts or tiny bumps on my skin.

As for the claims, I'm a little skeptical but maybe it'll show its effect over time.

Beside the price tag, I can't find anything bad with this foundation. That's how good it is!

Take care! XOXO

(Update) Etude House Precious Mineral Cover and Bright Fit BB Cream Review

Hello peeps!

My local Etude House store was having a Buy 1 Free 1 event so I ended up buying this BB cream (eventhough I have tons of them already) and the Curl and Fix Mascara. I have watched a video review by Jolse and it says this BB has a matte finish and I was hooked.

This is probably the simplest concept Etude House has ever came with.
The tube is glossy and thin compared to its sisters. It has this ice princess vibe to it LOL.

It also came in 35g instead of the normal 50g product.

You get less product but seriously, how are you gonna finish THAT much of product anyway.

Shade - W24 Honey Beige (Darkest shade available)

I actually like the pointed dispenser. It doesn't get too dirty while dispensing the product and it also dispense nicely according to my liking.

To be honest, this is like a fuss free and travel friendly BB cream.

I can tell someone have made an amazing effort with the packaging and presentation of the product.

The overall undertone is yellow with a hint of grey.

This product claim to "smoothly glides onto skin with its Double Fitting Concealer Technology"

Quick translation; YOU DON'T NEED CONCEALER
True to some extent. I personally think its a fail on my dark circles but on my redness, it covers well. It does glide smoothly on my skin, doesn't tug on or anything but aren't all liquid foundation are?

Its not matte as advertised. I still find it quite dewy for my liking and a tad tacky before setting it with powder (I dislike tacky face). Its lightly scented, synthetic yet fresh.

I have only tried it for once and I am ALLERGIC to it.
My face got so itchy when I was wearing this. The itchiness concentrates just right above my brows and few other spots on my face.

Its the weirdest thing.

When I removed it at the end of the day, I can see red spots on the itchy area probably due to me scratching it all day long. :(

I tried it yesterday and its actually a semi-matte finish. It is not tacky at all when applied in thin layer.

I also did not experience any allergic reaction and it actually feels comfortable because it didn't feel heavy on the skin. Personally, now it seems like this one is the best compared to its sisters.

It can look a little bit greyish though, something all Korean BB cream tend to do on my skin.

Take care! XOXO

A'pieu Air-Fit Nude Foundation No. 23 Review

Hello readers.

Recently, I've bought this foundation out of pure curiosity. This is my first time purchasing from A'pieu so I really want to buy something decent from them. I found this foundation from their website and to my surprise I was unable to find a single review about this product (except in Thai or Vietnamese which obviously I can't understand). Hence I decided to write a review on this cutesy product.

Can we take a moment to appreciate the kawaii-ness of the concept??
Its simple yet eye catching at the same time.

I bought the darkest shade available which is No. 23.
I think they have one or two more shades on the fairer side.

The first time I saw this, my opinion was "wow, its so small".
It comes in an 18g bottle and comparing it to the Etude House BB cream, it look so tiny LOL
Thankfully, its quite cheap (KRW 7,900 = MYR 28.90)

I have never own a foundation with a dropper. This type of product does have an expensive vibe don't you think so?

It dispenses the product really well but one time, I accidentally stain my cloth with the foundation since I normally use the dropper directly on to my face :(

It feels light weight and it blends easily with synthetic brush and beauty blender. It smells familiar, like some sort of Johnson's baby powder. It sets quite fast and turns powder upon blending.

Normally I would apply to the half of my face first then proceed to the other side. Surprise, surprise, it is not tacky at all! It even out my skintone beautifully despite having a light-medium coverage.

Shade wise, it is not the perfect match yet I have little issue with that since I wear hijab. It definitely didn't match my neck colour LOL.

Wear time is normal. It doesn't move around my skin but it does transfer a little to my blotting paper especially on my nose. Hence I always powder my face every 4-5 hours.

Wearing the foundation

Ain't it teeny tiny?!

Overall I recommend this foundation since its budget friendly and suitable for oily skin. I would really love to try another A'pieu product, do put some suggestion in the comment box below.

Take care! XOXO
