Today is the last day of my 7 Days of Optimism Project and i am soooo proud i finished it without any intended delay. *nods*
I have lots of people/words i look up to for inspiration.
Beauty - Aimie (she's the first person that introduced me to cosmetics and such.Thank you Mon,if it wasn't you brought me shopping to Sephora long time ago,i might never started buying makeups. :D )
Fashion - 2NE1
Self enrichments - books and quotes, sometimes i observed people especially the one thats close to me.
Music - BIGBANG,2NE1,Lana Del Ray,sometimes Yuna.
Kpop has a great influence on me. :P
Basically, this entry is a just a bunch of quotes that I can relate to,hopefully you could too.I love quotes, they're great tools to inspire me beside reading books and listening to music.
What was the first thing that came to your mind when you read the word 'dream'?
To me,the first thing that come up is..too many hehe.
But i have some constant dreams thats always in my list.
Visit Korea,Japan number 2 haha.
traveling (im finally embracing my passion for traveling)
flat abs *cough* before my 20th birthday, which is this year
part time makeup artist/blogger.what i mean is that i earn money through it.
3.6 CGPA huhu.
my own dream house
to be honest, there's a lot.I remember making 101 wishlist on my notebook.
Believe in your dreams.Think big and you shall get big too.Maybe your dreams are totally unlike the 'real' you but hey, variety is the spice of life!
People may laugh and tease you but its your job to endure and have faith in yourself.Dont let little people get on your nerves, just wave them off.Dont waste your energy.
And..work towards it little by little, every day.Consistency is important as well as preseverence and efforts.Nothing gonna roll out of nowhere to your feet.
What's your dream?
Be the heroine/hero in your life, not the victim.
- Nora Ephron
p/s - i didn't do proofreading sooo,i apologize for the grammatical errors. -3-
Basically,if there is no love there will be less dramatic love story's songs.
I personally is a huge believer of true love and that love is always around me.In other word, love is very subjective. But i came to realize this fact a little bit late because of my immaturity.Initially i thought that love can only be seen through certain ways,i even forgot to love myself at some point of my life.thank goodness i've finally recovered. :')
I remember watching this video on ASTRO.
This clarify how subjective love is.
I simply love this masterpiece. =3=
Nowadays love has been wrongly used - love has been used for manipulation, deceiving people, and thrown into mud of lies.Love is so powerful it can literally 'blind' an individual.I cannot blame anyone, that is just our nature.we want to feel needed and loved, and bad people take advantage of it.
Give your love today.
who know's the cat you've been passing everyday is craving for a pat of scratch on its tummy.
who know's a single smile could brighten up a stranger's day.
who know's what karma will bring when you do just one act of kindness today.
Remember,
Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead.
Of all lessons that i've learnt,i think unattachment is the very one that gave impact on the present me.
I've started to detach from anything that i sense could potentially harm me emotionally or physically. Its very hard to practice unattachment because human brain prefers familiarity.
But to me,i felt that this had helped me in my daily life.Whenever i become attached to something,i solely rely on that something to make me happy.Sounds loony but that is how i function.I wanted it to be close to as much as possible,i unconciously dedicate myself to that something. When i lose it,i became sad and uncomfortable,as if something was not quite right.
So,unattachment made me become who i am today.I no longer feel pushed aside simple because i know i choose to be quiet, not because i have no chance whatsoever.I no longer need a friend to do this or that "together" because i know, sometimes working alone can save me from a lot of hassle.I no longer seek for love simply because i know,it will come when the timing is right.
Also, when you detach from someone for example, you can see how much is your value to that someone.Or you detach from something for example, you can examine how much that thing affected your daily life, either in a good or bad way.
Attachment can be a good thing you know, like a marriage based on love or a friendship that supports each other unconditionally.Attachment is a good thing only if it didn't put a veil on who you really are.
As promised, this will be the very first entry for my 7DOO project.
You reap what you sow
For every action, there is an equal reaction
You get exactly what you deserve for at the moment, now.I believe hard work will never betray me.
However, sometimes i took things for granted.I simply dispose my priority just because i thought i have enough time.Truth is,there is time but it is not enough. Then i would feel guilty and start re-prioritize then dispose it again and again.
Every day im bombarded with so-called stuffs to do when in reality i spend most of my time on the internet and sleeping.I tell myself 'ok i'll do this after i ______' but i find that once i procastinate,it would be hard to keep on track.Worse,i hardly done anything to force myself to get things done in the first place.I indulge myself, convincing myself it would be done 'later'.
Because most of us are so used to mediocrity we think its ok to just pass the tests, its ok to get at least a 3.0 pointer, saying exams are not everything and not a way of life, its ok to be stagnant,to keep things just the way they are but really, deep inside we all know we can change,if only we put just a little more effort and faith.
Of course, some people hardly make any effort but they get all the gold and glory but to compare yourself with another human being is a great mistake. We are all different, and Allah always has His way of giving you lessons.Things may look pretty bad now but it will get better because eventually it all come back to you,how you handle and cope with the situation.
Don just blindly doubled your effort without a plan. Its like covering your eyes while you're playing golf.If you're a student, dont simply burn the midnight oil by studying alone, trying to understand bits of fact by yourself. It wont work, trust me.I've been there.Ask your friend to explain, you would be surprise how glad they are to help and teach you.Do a study group instead of sitting alone in the corner, pretending like you could digest the whole book by yourself. That's foolish.
You'll be surprised how little effort could give a big impact on your daily progress.Im in no position to brag but personally,i could see the changes myself.I feel good of myself whenever i realized i made effort to do something,no matter how little it was.
So,i want to encourage you to at least give effort to anything you do right now, just a little more than you usually give.
