hello cupcakes!!
Im sorry,it has been a while since my last entry thanks to the eidul fitr celebration.I was so busy mannnn. (ʘᗩʘ') Last Monday there was an open house at my aunt's,Tuesday at our family's house,Wednesday at my besties and Thursday at my house.I am a complete mess last week.My dirty laundry is piling up and i went to sleep exhausted every night T____T On Friday I went on a road trip with Ray and it was MAJESTIC. (。◕‿◕。)
Anywaysss this is a product im totally digging in right now.I bought this on my trip to KK two weeks ago and it was on sale yay! so it was slightly cheaper than the real price, maybe around 27.90 MYR (8.50 USD)??
I kind of think this is a dupe for Clinique Chubby Stick kekeke.
I kind of think this is a dupe for Clinique Chubby Stick kekeke.
I honestly never heard of balm stain. In my logic, lip tint is a lip tint, nothing else. :P The first time I found out about this product,I instantly want it but not like want it badly. This thing is among in the bottom of my top 50 wishlist (kind of).
First, dont be fooled by the metal looking twister.Haha I was fooled too.Its actually plastic. The packaging is 100% made of plastic in which i dont mind.
The packaging's colour follows the real shade of the balm stain.Due to the flash, the real colour looks slightly different.
seriously, dont you think it looks quite similar to Clinique Chubby Stick??
That's a lot of ingredients.
Upon detaching the cover,i cannot detact any distinct smell but if you actually put it close to your nose you could smell a hint of menthol. It smells like..chewing gum.
First time applying it,you could definitely feel the cold minty sensation on your lips but it only lasts for a few seconds.
Honestly,i like that!
Fully twisted. This thing is going to last for-e-ver.
The intensity is buildable.
At one point i think this thing is a legit lipstick.
Anyway,a tribute to GD's 26th birthday -3-
It looks light on my lips but still the intensity and coverage looks very much the same as a lipstick.
P/S - applied fully on my lips
It suits my warm skintone. :) perfectly.
It lasts throughout the day,it does fade away after i eat, drink but the stain remain vivid on my outer lips.
My friend is currently using this too but in different shade. :)
PROS
- Vivid color
- Long lasting
- Travel friendly
- Affordable
- Clinique Chubby Stick dupe?hehe
- Various shades to choose from cool to warm colours
CONS
- Only a few shades available at the stores
- If you're allergic to menthol,this is a no-no item for you.
I am aiming to buy 2 or 3 more shades from this range just because i totally love the result!
I'd recommend this to whoever want a softer finish with vivid result on their lips. Also to someone who eats alot :P I personally would recommend this to young girls haha.
thanks for reading! :)
