Confession Of A Beauty-holic ; Base Makeup

Hello unicorns!

This is yet another post unlike the usual.I wanted to share with you guys my current base makeup collection.Mostly the one that i love the most.I have sold most of my base makeup especially CC creams. They are simply below the par in terms of coverage and longevity.Sad but i think i'll stick with BB creams and BB cushions for now.

So,currently i have 6 BB creams/foundation plus the Face Conditioning Cream (base) and 4 BB cushions.Lets get right into it!

Review - Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly BB Cream in #02 Aqua Neutral

Hello cupcakes!

I dont feel like sleeping yet so im back with another BB cream review! This particular BB cream is recently one of my favourite BB cream besides the Innisfree BB cushion. Its an old yet renewed product from Holika holika.

CC Cream Comparison - Holika Holika,Tony Moly,Etude House

hello!

Im still not done with my July 2013 wishlist and my head is already filled with tons of new entries -___- I was compelled to do this entry because I saw quite many beauty bloggers doing this CC comparison so i thought I want to give my 2 cents too haha.

Holika Holika Face 2 Change CC Cream

hello readers!

its been a few days since my last update since im having my final exam. *sigh* Anyway, today i met my mum *cries* i missed her and im so happy to see her after almost 6 months ;') Mum treated me two tops and a CC Cream (○゜ε^○)Thanks mum!

I've been hunting CC Creams lately.Sadly The Faceshop Aura CC Cream which got lots of good review is still not launched in Malaysia ಠ_ಠ The salesgirl said the launching will be on the 28th of June watdaheck.

I was thrilled when I saw this CC Cream at Holika Holika's outlet.I didn't know this CC Cream have two shades.

Contrary to Etude House CC Cream which claimed to have 8 in 1 benefits,Face 2 Change has only three highlighted benefits.

Ladies and gentleman, pumps are the trend at the moment.

almost the same style,right?

Holika Holika Pearly Eye Crayon in #01 Pearly Gold

hi cupcakes!

Recently (last week),i went to Holika Holika to hunt for pen eyeliner.I also bought a concealer and this eye crayon.i almost bought their new Moist BB Cushion. It looks sooooo tempting eventhough the price is RM100. ;_____; praise to Allah i didn't buy it.

However i bought their pearly eye crayon. It was much more expensive (RM32++) compared to Tony Moly eye crayon which was only RM19++ if im not mistaken. But i was rushing so i just buy whatever was available at the moment.

This eye crayon can be used as a/an..

1. eyeshadow ( i prefer as an eyeshadow base)
2. eyeliner
3. highlighter (for the inner corner of the eyes and brow bone)

Pilot Test

This eye crayon is creamy,it glides smoothly on my skin.Since its 'pearly' it has a shimmering effect, perfect for a night events. The gold color looks natural instead of the typical over shimmering gold makeup hehe.

I have no complain with this eye crayon since i've not use it quite often (yet). :)

thanks for reading! ;)

Your Everyday Beauty Supplies

hi cupcakes.

i've been so busy with practical class and so forth hence i was unable to update my blog. :/ anyway, its weekend!TGIF!

im back yet with another so-called-makeup entry muehehe in which every makeup enthusiast MUST do that is 'My everyday makeup' or 'my everyday routine' or whatsoever.however this one is my version of everyday makeup which i will be featuring some of my favourite products yay!

and....minus the tutorial. D:

so what is this everyday beauty supplies??

its basically just the products that you need/want/have to apply (on your face) everyday.

of course when we're talking about EVERYDAY we want something that is SIMPLE and EASY plus UNDRAMATIC.i think smoky eyeshadow is not suitable for my daily makeup because..it takes time and a lot of maintenance XD but some women do use smoky eyes as their daily routine.that is why this is MY VERSION of makeup.

BUT once a week or once every two week is reasonable to draw a winged eyeliner or put on some colour on your lids (just saying)

anywayyyyy moving on to the real post.

although i have a lot more products, these baby are on the top list.

1.Holika Holika Petit BB Cream (Watery) -> scroll down to read why i love this.
3.Peri's Tint #4 Kissable Red

i absolutely definitely in love with this products.if you have oily and acne prone skin maybe you can try the BB cream as well as loose powder (click the link).it works well on me and i hope it works on your skin too.

for now i rarely wear any makeup (even BB),except sunblock (because KL is so effing hot) because i have six hours of chemistry practical class.im afraid the product will react with the unfamiliar chemicals in the lab and cause skin irritation :O so NOPE.

i hope this entry help you.

see you later! xoxo.

Cheap Shine Free Translucent Powder With Corn Starch

hello cupcakes!

i've been looking for a suitable loose powder for my (extremely) oily skin.i dont want to spend money on this product only to found that it doesn't do what its suppose to do at the end (loose powder is quite expensive)

through out various researched and youtube browsing,i finally found a kind of DIY loose powder for oily skin team united muehehe.

the answer is CORN STARCH. (tepung jagung la weh)

cornstarch is very absorbent and since its white in colour, you dont have to worry about skin tone compability!it will suits you just fine as long as you dont put too much, like the opera lady muehehe.

also, cornstarch can be used to make a DIY baby powder with a few more ingredients *google it!*

1. purchase any corn starch from your local grocery's store or check you cupboard, you may already have it all this time!

2. obtain a powder case with a face sponge.you can find it at japanese store like Daiso or 100 Yen or any beauty department stores.i bought mine from 100 Yen at Suria Sabah.

apparently 100 Yen = 3.34 MYR.
but i bought this both for almost 10 MYR.
the shop's name doesn't make sense??

3. clean the powder case first.hygiene is very important neh?

4. pour some of the corn starch into the powder case.

5. now you have your very own DIY translucent loose powder that will surely works!

honestly,i tried this myself and it really reduced my shiny T zone.i didn't have any breakouts from wearing this so i guess you'll be fine too.you can also pack it in your bag,who knows you might need touch up?? :3

frankly,i dont have perfect skin.im still trying to figure out what's best for my skin. *nods* sadly,i think im incompatible with the Holika Holika Travel Special Kit :'( i'll probably try it till next week and see if its just a short term effect.

meanwhile,i might sell it back on my friendly fashion page (which will be my very first item to be sold ahaaa) or to whoever close to me whom interested. :)

till then,xoxo.

i miss my baby sister. :'(

Skin Care Alert!!! (Holika Holika Travel Special Kit & Hada Labo Trial Kit)

hello.

here goes an unplan entry.

a few entries before,i told you about changing my skincare products so im gonna share to you my findings(?) (◡ ‿ ◡ ✿)

did you know that you can make your own skincare products?from cleansing foam to moisturizer?ahah its all in Google darling.

anyway,i still bought the chemically manufactured products just because its so main stream i kinda used to it. *am i the only one?*

originally Suria Sabah have Tony Moly but sadly it was closed either for renovation or it flunk. *sigh* and im very very disappointed with Etude House at 1Borneo.its very dirty and most of the items are out dated (◔_◔)

i've only started using this Holika Holika Kit since this morning (⊙ω⊙) so i can't give any comments (yet),skincare takes longer time to works.i'll be providing you pictures and vague description on the products.

Holika Holika Travel Special Kit (and i thought its Special Travel Kit lol) (RM 35 @ any Holika Holika booth)

all in hangul so its a down mark for most of Holika Holika products.they dont provide translation, even if it does it contain very little description.

at the front, its Jung Il Woo while at the back there's also SISTAR (i love them!!) and the product's ingredients.

surprisingly this shower gel didn't form bubbles even after i squish a big amount of it on my sponge.
:( but it smells so nice.

i thought the cleanser will be black in colour or at least have a black particles in it but NO.it has white colour and very foamy.is it just me or Korean cleansing products didn't make your skin feels tighten after its usage??

Toner and Emulsion (moisturizer)

The toner is a bit thick but overall i like it both.

apparently i have an oily skin so yay for this one.although i haven't been using this one (some say its too fair),im pretty impressed because this actually can be a substitute to my BB routine.

Hada Labo Trial Kit (RM 19 @ Watsons)

Hada Labo is a japanese product and i was so intrigued to try this product but its so expensive. D: so when i saw this kit on the rack i practically snatch it lmao.i'll try this later on after the Holika Holika products.

till then,xoxo.

p/s ; so harlem shake,anyone?? :P
