Korean Cosmetics Online Store in Malaysia

Hi earthlings!

I've been a fan of Korean cosmetics for 4-5 years now. They are affordable, comes with appealing packaging and works wonderfully. I feel that the makeups are injected with innovation and continuous improvement. They make BB/CC cream and lip tint popular plus invented cushion foundation/blusher/eyeliner.

However, most of them are unavailable locally except for global brand such as Etude House, Nature Republic, The Faceshop, Innisfree, etc. Some of them are expensive especially Etude House due to import taxes :(

Fortunately, I found 2 local websites that sell K-beauty cosmetics. Both have affordable shipping option and offer reasonable prices and promotions.

https://www.kyoubeauty.com

The store provide easy navigation to their products and there's a large selection of brand s available. They also sell popular items such as the April Skin Magic Cushion and Missha x Line collab items. Check them out guys!

Simple design with pops of color can never go wrong :)

http://major-b.com

I accidentally found this store when I was blog walking. They're operating from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah which is awesome (cause I'm Sabahan too lol). The major attraction of this site is that they sell beauty tools. They also offer affordable prices and you will get a RM15 off coupon upon first registration.

I personally haven't purchase anything from them because I iz broke T___T

But feel free to share your experience in the comment if you have purchase from these sites. :)

Take care! XOXO

Tony Moly Liptone Get It Tint Review (05 All Night Red)

Hello earthlings!

Last year, Tony Moly released their Facetone collection which include this tint as part of the Liptone line. I was also interested to purchase the skin tint but I was unsure of my shade so I bought the liptint instead.

I wanted a classic red tint and through the advertorial, I figure this shade will be the perfect one. WRONG!

The tint was packaged to look like a nail polish. The transparent, bulky glass gives out luxury vibe plus they're very generous with the product inside. No worries though, the bottle doesn't feel like it'll break easily, just don't purposely smash it :D

The applicator is doe foot shaped. For some reason the cover has loosen up and I can't secure the lid tightly :( It feels as if the lid will detach itself if I put this in my pouch. It's so frustrating!

The swatch looks nice, exactly the kind of red that I want.

I wiped off the tint to see its stain and WTF it has pink tint!

THE F###

It's not red as I imagine it to be T____T

I was fooled by the advertorial T_________T

It is gel-like but almost watery and its not as bitter as most liptints. It has high color pay off and difficult to remove with regular makeup remover. However it fade off pretty easily if it comes in contact with oil. I guess its oil soluble so keep that in mind, especially during meals. Once dried, it transfer minimally to the glass its barely noticeable.

I love the color pay off but honestly, its difficult for any tints to stain my upper lip and this one is no exception. I need to build up the color on my upper lip while it stains my lower lip effortlessly. It sets fast so I have to blend it quickly, otherwise it'll form an awkward harsh line on the lips which destroy the goal of gradient lips -__-

Its a good product, I'm just disappointed with the pink stain. I would recommend this if you want a vivid and long lasting liptint with an affordable price. :)

Take care! XOXO

Age 20's Essence Cover Pact Review

Hi earthlings!

Today I bring you a review about a product sold through the home shopping channel GoShop. The brand originated from South Korea but I have never heard of it before. Anyway the package arrive after 4 days. Quite fast considering my address (Sabah). The delivery cost is RM20! Expensive horrr.

The front cover is made up of metal. It looks super edgy and sophisticated. I look up on Google and fair enough, this product is targeted for women on their 30's (based on personal approximation of the model's age). It also has SPF50+++ so its all good for the skin ay'.

I tend to veer off of cream product due to my oily skin yet I've always wanted to try it at the same time because it's always fun to try new makeup! :) :) :) The pact, like its name consists of a mixture of white product marbled in between the main cream product. The cushion puff is just like a regular air puff though I feel like its slightly thinner.

Upper swatch - beige and white mixed together
Lower swatch - beige alone

The overall tone become a tad fairer when mixed together while using the beige tone alone will be too dark for my skintone. The dilemma -.- Upon application, it feels hydrating and cooling at the same time.

Its lightweight and the air puff makes it impossible for me to cake up my face. It looks invisible on the skin and I'm rather impressed. The finish is a bit tacky for me. It might be just me because I could not tolerate even a hint of tackiness.

 Wearing the pact

From the perspective of an oily skin person, this pact is tolerable if I'm out and about during a windy/cloudy day. It will definitely melt off under the sun because cream product is usually oily, when its mixed with the sebum it will slip and slide everywhere!

The shade match my skin tone, its not too dark or too fair to the point it looks ashy. The funny thing is I feel like the hydrating effect lasts even after 2-3 hours applying it. I cannot comment the longevity since I wore it for only 4-5 hours and it still looking pretty good. Not sure whether it'll last all day.

In a nutshell, its a damn good product for someone with dry/combination skin. It works well with oily skin but it won't last long under the heat from the sun. I personally think this is for women in the 30's who's looking for beneficial makeup with skincare ingredients but hey, you do you ;)

Take care!
XOXO

A'pieu Air-Fit Nude Foundation No. 23 Review

Hello readers.

Recently, I've bought this foundation out of pure curiosity. This is my first time purchasing from A'pieu so I really want to buy something decent from them. I found this foundation from their website and to my surprise I was unable to find a single review about this product (except in Thai or Vietnamese which obviously I can't understand). Hence I decided to write a review on this cutesy product.

Can we take a moment to appreciate the kawaii-ness of the concept??
Its simple yet eye catching at the same time.

I bought the darkest shade available which is No. 23.
I think they have one or two more shades on the fairer side.

The first time I saw this, my opinion was "wow, its so small".
It comes in an 18g bottle and comparing it to the Etude House BB cream, it look so tiny LOL
Thankfully, its quite cheap (KRW 7,900 = MYR 28.90)

I have never own a foundation with a dropper. This type of product does have an expensive vibe don't you think so?

It dispenses the product really well but one time, I accidentally stain my cloth with the foundation since I normally use the dropper directly on to my face :(

It feels light weight and it blends easily with synthetic brush and beauty blender. It smells familiar, like some sort of Johnson's baby powder. It sets quite fast and turns powder upon blending.

Normally I would apply to the half of my face first then proceed to the other side. Surprise, surprise, it is not tacky at all! It even out my skintone beautifully despite having a light-medium coverage.

Shade wise, it is not the perfect match yet I have little issue with that since I wear hijab. It definitely didn't match my neck colour LOL.

Wear time is normal. It doesn't move around my skin but it does transfer a little to my blotting paper especially on my nose. Hence I always powder my face every 4-5 hours.

Wearing the foundation

Ain't it teeny tiny?!

Overall I recommend this foundation since its budget friendly and suitable for oily skin. I would really love to try another A'pieu product, do put some suggestion in the comment box below.

Take care! XOXO

Peripera 10cm Pride Up BB Cream Review

Hi unicorns!

Yet another BB cream review. I couldn't resist the temptation since it was on sale for only RM20! Peripera is a sister brand of Clio. Peripera is somewhat give out the early teen vibes which is why I tend to avoid their products. However Clio is a little bit pricey at my local department store which the sole reason why I almost never buy any Clio items.

Long story short,I finally own this BB cream after eyeing it for quite some time. :)

Aritaum Pore Master Sebum Control Primer Review

Hi earthlings!

What a very very long time no see!

A friend of mine bought this primer in Korea for me.I never saw any online shop promotes this product, much more reviews on it and yet i took the risk anyway because i was looking for something cheap to replace my Benefit Porefessional pore primer. The concept and design is almost the same as Benefit's right?

✿ AOA Jimin Makeup Inpired Look ✿

Hello everyone!

After doing a collab in my previous post,i become interested in doing a K-POP makeup look.It was so much fun exploring and utilizing the skills i've learnt through watching so many youtube videos and tutorials. :D

Since AOA is a new emerging KPOP influencer,i began looking through in google image for inspiration on my next entry.I was particularly interested with Jimin because she has unique facial feature that enable me to detect her right away without having to skim through the group picture.

It doesn't exactly look the same because i dont have a lipstick/tint's shade that she wore in the Short Hair MV.I did tried my best to recreate the whole makeup minus the lipstick =3=

❤ Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Blooming Fit W24 Honey Beige Review ❤

Hello strawberries!

This BB cream is one of Etude House's newest addition to their Precious Mineral line.Supposedly this BB cream is the improved version of the Bright Fit BB cream i reviewed here.I've heard so many bloggers praising this BB cream due to its texture and the radiant glow it gives.

For some reason, this BB is more expensive than its sisters (Bright Fit and Cotton Fit). Its retail price is 99.90 MYR = 100 MYR O.O So i bought this from Carousell for only 30 MYR (preloved)

✿ Innisfree Water Glow Cushion 21 Natural Beige Review ✿

Hello rainbows!

As promised,i present you the Water Glow Cushion review from Innisfree! *Yet another BB cushion review* XP

Supposedly there are two version of this BB cushion ; Long Wear Cushion (Matte) and Water Glow Cushion (Dewy).Logically,my skin is oily so i should've buy the matte version but the i picked up the dewy version just to review and see whether its wearable for the oily skin team.

☁ October 2014 Collective Haul ☁

Hello muffins!

I have bought some of the most popular products or at least raved by bloggers in the blogosphere.I was a bit out of date in getting my hand on them because i was on a tight budget before. T___T

Luckily,I have Carousell as my saviour. :) All of them was a lot cheaper than the retail price, even cheaper than the online price. But here's the catch, its cheap because its preloved or somewhat has a little damage on them. In my case, all of it were relatively new except the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation which nevertheless in uber good condition.
