Must Have Alat Solek [Azwaa X Zalora MY]

Hi lovelies!

Makeup is versatile and there is an infinite possibility of exploring the art of makeup. Nowadays creative ideas are popping on Instagram and Youtube like madness! I've seen people use spoon to contour and draw their eyeliner and the latest craze, the spoon/hairbrush kinda brush that claims to blend your makeup faster and give flawless finish effortlessly. 

So today I'm gonna share with you my must have alat solek (Pardon for using my mother tongue language :P)

Beauty blender

This is the perfect tool to blend wet products like foundation and concealer. It provide the most natural finish by absorbing the excess product and even out the product beautifully. I find it perform the best when used as damp as its dry form is normally stiff. There are tons of dupes sold online with an affordable price.

Dual ended eyebrow brush

Brows are the real best friend to women. The right brows can frame the face and enhance your natural features. When I'm traveling, I always carry this brush in my makeup pouch. They're handy to draw and blend the eyebrow product so it appear soft and natural. Remember ladies, never ignore your brows! 

Mattifying pore pact

I have to have this in my makeup pouch. I have oily skin and by midday my face is a greasy mess. I always blot the greasy area to mattify it and freshen up my look. The finely milled powder also blur out my pores and since its translucent, it can be used by a variety of skin tone. Plus, its small size makes it easier to pack along and comparatively cheaper than the normal setting powders.

Lip balm

Lip balm is life because chapped lips ain't sexy. I have a severe pale lips so I always opt for a tinted balm but the colorless one will do as long as it moisturize my lips. It is also a quick way to polish up my look especially after drinks or meals with my buddies. Its much of a less hassle than applying a full on lipstick where I have to be precise and let's be honest, its time consuming :/

Rachel K CC Cream in Neutral (Pink Tube)

Hello readers.

Today I went shopping for my necessities (Q-tips,cotton,moisturizer,etc).Guardian is having a big sale and everything is incredibly cheap! My hada labo moisturizer only cost RM 39++ and its original price is almost RM50. =3= 

Guardian is selling Rachel K CC Cream and currently its on sale too.Its only RM39 instead of its original price RM69 or something.Its reasonable la since the tube is only 30g.Hence i bought one hehe.

But first,i want to review(?) a makeup remover i bought along with the CC cream - Biore Cleansing Oil-in-Cotton Wipes.

I feel like i should show you guys how you could get a nice,flawless makeup using my Etude House products hehe.Plus i want to play around with my new babies. :)

Firstly,if you dont have a perfect skin,dont weep! its completely normal.enlarge pores?acnes?super oily skin?everyone has their own issues.the correct way to banish these problems are by finding suitable skincare products and with a little touch of makeup. *winks*

do you know ulzzang?no?google it.they're extremely fair,sharp jaws,porcelain like skin,big eyes and plump lips.

dont be shocked if its actually the makeup and photoshop who did wonders on them. dont believe me?watch this video.

Your Everyday Beauty Supplies

hi cupcakes.

i've been so busy with practical class and so forth hence i was unable to update my blog. :/ anyway,its weekend!TGIF!

im back yet with another so-called-makeup entry muehehe in which every makeup enthusiast MUST do that is 'My everyday makeup' or 'my everyday routine' or whatsoever.however this one is my version of everyday makeup which i will be featuring some of my favourite products yay!

and....minus the tutorial. D: 

so what is this everyday beauty supplies??

its basically just the products that you need/want/have to apply (on your face) everyday.

of course when we're talking about EVERYDAY we want something that is SIMPLE and EASY plus UNDRAMATIC.i think smoky eyeshadow is not suitable for my daily makeup because..it takes time and a lot of maintenance XD but some women do use smoky eyes as their daily routine.that is why this is MY VERSION of makeup.

BUT once a week or once every two week is reasonable to draw a winged eyeliner or put on some colour on your lids (just saying)

anywayyyyy moving on to the real post.

although i have a lot more products,these baby are on the top list.

4.Corn starch loose powder.

i absolutely definitely in love with this products.if you have oily and acne prone skin maybe you can try the BB cream as well as loose powder (click the link).it works well on me and i hope it works on your skin too.

for now i rarely wear any makeup (even BB),except sunblock (because KL is so effing hot) because i have six hours of chemistry practical class.im afraid the product will react with the unfamiliar chemicals in the lab and cause skin irritation :O so NOPE.

Cheap Shine Free Translucent Powder With Corn Starch

hello cupcakes!

i've been looking for a suitable loose powder for my (extremely) oily skin.i dont want to spend money on this product only to found that it doesn't do what its suppose to do at the end (loose powder is quite expensive)

through out various researched and youtube browsing,i finally found a kind of DIY loose powder for oily skin team united muehehe.

the answer is CORN STARCH. (tepung jagung la weh)

cornstarch is very absorbent and since its white in colour,you dont have to worry about skin tone compability!it will suits you just fine as long as you dont put too much,like the opera lady muehehe.

also,cornstarch can be used to make a DIY baby powder with a few more ingredients *google it!* 

1. purchase any corn starch from your local grocery's store or check you cupboard,you may already have it all this time!

2. obtain a powder case with a face sponge.you can find it at japanese store like Daiso or 100 Yen or any beauty department stores.i bought mine from 100 Yen at Suria Sabah.

apparently 100 Yen = 3.34 MYR.

but i bought this both for almost 10 MYR.

the shop's name doesn't make sense??

3. clean the powder case first.hygiene is very important neh?

4. pour some of the corn starch into the powder case.

5. now you have your very own DIY translucent loose powder that will surely works!

honestly,i tried this myself and it really reduced my shiny T zone.i didn't have any breakouts from wearing this so i guess you'll be fine too.you can also pack it in your bag,who knows you might need touch up?? :3

frankly,i dont have perfect skin.im still trying to figure out what's best for my skin. *nods* sadly,i think im incompatible with the Holika Holika Travel Special Kit :'( i'll probably try it till next week and see if its just a short term effect.

meanwhile,i might sell it back on my friendly fashion page (which will be my very first item to be sold ahaaa) or to whoever close to me whom interested. :)

aku ramalkan ong tahun baru ni kali bagus sebab cuaca dari pagi berawan,langit biru tapi ndak panas. :) so yep,may this lunar new year bring you a lot of ong and money.

• pencahayaan atau lighting

benda paling penting ni.natural light is the best option.pilih tempat yang mempunyai pencahayaan yg bagus.cth - tempat yg kena matahari,terang or simply dapat cahaya dari luar (siang) atau tempat yg ada lampu fluoresen terang (malam)

lighting yang bagus boleh sembunyikan semua kecacatan muka muehehe. :P 

• kamera digital (at least 8 Megapixel)

kenapa kamera digital?alaa,takkan la korang poyo sangat mau tangkap selca dgn kamera lomo kan lmao.cuba tengok lens kamera korang,kat situ ada tulis berapa megapixel kan.semakin tinggi megapixel,semakin refine la gambar korang.

• cari 'angle' terbaik anda

ok,bila korang syok depan kamera tu,selalunya ada beberapa hasil yg menampakkan betapa flawless nya muka,pose dan senyuman anda.hahhhh,tu maybe best angle korang la.so tiap kali ambil gambar,korang automatically bleh tau apa yg terbaek utk gambar korang. :)

• berlatih senyum depan cermin

supaya ndak terbuat senyuman awkward.senyum pun ada seninya disitu. :D senyum bleh di control tapi dalam masa yg sama nampak sangat natural.percaya atau tidak?

• look good.

this is not rocket science but kalau tiada effort utk nampak cantik,sampai bila pun gambar tu tidak cantik kan?so i suggest (bagi perempuan) pakai BB cream (lightweight,probability utk fail rendah sebab BB cream berubah mengikut warna kulit kita),concealer untuk tutup hitam bawah mata and parut jerawat,lip tint or lip balm utk bibir natural dan merah comel (eseh) dan eyeliner untuk 'eye popper'

• for hijabers

cari hijab yg sesuai dengan muka korang.sebab personally,muka aku tidak padan pakai shawl.asal pakai mesti dahi jadi luas seluas mata memandang  dan nampak gumuk. :/ tudung bawal tone down my face,tidak memfokuskan dahi dan reshape muka aku.kadang-kadang boleh nampak bujur muka aku.sebenarnya aku kurang suka lilit-lilit ni,panas. :O

• Be Confident!

Liole Dollish Veil Vita BB Cream Review and collections of BB cream (BB Craze!!)

i was away for a few days because of the wifi connection. *sigh*

my parcel arrived last wednesday.i bought a BB cream online and its quite expensive. -.- 70 MYR.

//packaging

this BB cream come with a hard bottle and a pump.its light weight and very attractive.even the name itself is attention seeker!dollish veil vita BB cream.veil vita = gorgeous purple

//texture

unlike other BB cream,this product is in pale green.green will cancel the redness on your face.but it doesn't look green at all once blended.it looks very natural.for its smell,of course its scented.i like it,nuff said.

//my experience

i usually apply only a thin amount of BB cream on my face.normally i will squirt out about the size of the swatch picture above for my entire face.i was surprised because i feel like it wasn't enough after one application.i dont know,maybe its just me because most of the reviews i read about this product are positive.also,whenever i use other BB product my face will drastically change to one or two shade lighter (bertambah puteh laa) but with this product,it didn't.i guess that's a good news but im used to the perception of BB cream will make my skin fairer that it slightly disappoint me when this product didn't meet my 'fair' expection lmao.its pricey,70 MYR for only 30 ml is definitely not for students budget *nods* i personally think the only thing that makes this BB so pricey is because of its packaging XD

side note - i might redo this review,maybe the first time i tried it i wasn't careful to inspect every element.

currently this is my BB cream.The Face Shop Lovely ME:EX BB cream is my first BB cream for 30++ MYR.of all this BB my favourite one is 4,Holika Holika Watery Petit BB cream because of its thick texture and excellent coverage.it does change my skintone drastically which what i expect from BB cream.my skin is not compatible with 3,Maybelline New York Pure BB.it makes red patches(?) on my skin and its very itchy so i rarely use it.Skin Food Good Afternoon Lemon BB Cream is an awesome product too,it looks a bit darker than my skintone but it fits perfectly after application.for 1,it makes my skin become fairer too.i dont have any breakouts from any of them except 3.

i am thinking of changing my skincare products since the current one is not doing its job lately.im using oxy products and i think its time for me to change it since my skin aged as i aged too.i've been using oxy since i was 16 and im gonna be 20 this year. :)

when i put it on,i didn't have any breakout.however my skin get super oily hence i only wear this occasionally.maybe it's not for the oily type (my skin is extremely oily).
